When Micah's fear of clowns leads his mother to hire a magician for his birthday instead, the celebration turns into a nightmare. The performer arrives wearing an antique top hat-an artifact possessed by a vengeful vaudeville demon. The moment the show begins, the magician becomes its vessel, slaughtering Micah's family and transforming every witness into part of his twisted traveling act. Now hunted through his small town, Micah must survive a night where every street becomes a stage and every bystander risks becoming a performer. As the demon's influence spreads, the town itself turns into a living theater, with the possessed magician recruiting new "cast members" through deadly illusions no one can escape once they've watched. The show has only one rule: If you see the trick, you belong to the act.
