The Great British Sewing Bee

This is a reality show about a contest between expert sewers. Sewers are given 3 challenges per day: a pattern challenge using a pattern the judges select, an alteration challenge in which sewers alter existing clothing, and finally a challenge in which sewers create a more substantial item such as a party dress. After these three challenges a sewer is eliminated and this repeats until there are 3 finalists left. At the end of the finalists challenge a winner is named. Judges are challenging sewers with various construction techniques and use of difficult materials.
