The Old Man and the Parrot

Praxi, a 77-year-old Cuban exile and former comedian, roams Little Havana with a taxidermy parrot, holding the soul of his late partner, Yoelvis, a charismatic vegetarian chef. Convinced a curse is to blame, Praxi searches for Radel, an eccentric alchemist who may hold the key to setting Yoelvis free. Through flashbacks, the film explores Praxi and Yoelvis' relationship, their struggles to achieve their dreams, and the fateful encounter with Radel that changed everything.
