Once upon a time, there lived a boy nicknamed Uncle Fyodor. He loved animals, but his parents wouldn't hear of any furry, tailed creatures moving into their apartment. So Uncle Fyodor and his new friends-his cat, Matroskin, and his faithful dog, Sharik-were forced to set off for the village of Prostokvashino.
