While traveling to Leipzig by train, veterinarian Nicole meets Martin, a single father, in an unusual way. A year has passed since then, and the two are now in a harmonious relationship. However, Nicole has still not met Martin's children. So Martin decides to arrange a Christmas dinner with everyone so that they can finally get to know each other. But the meal does not go as planned.
