The Thanksgiving Visitor

This TV-movie is based on Truman Capote's story of his childhood memories of living with his aunts in rural Alabama during the Depression. It is Christmas, and time for his quirky Aunt Sook to make her famous (some would say infamous) fruitcake. Geraldine Page won an Emmy for her brilliant portrayal of Aunt Sook in this well-acted story.
