Rio, 40 Graus

Set during an oppressively hot day in Rio de Janeiro, the film follows five young Black boys who sell peanuts to survive, moving through different parts of the city-from wealthy beachfront neighborhoods to impoverished favelas. As they navigate their daily routines, the story weaves together multiple encounters with tourists, football fans, middle-class families, criminals, and police.
